I have known Emma for many years and from a young age she has always had a special affinity with dogs. Emma has a natural talent in understanding dogs and for being able to bring out the best in them, no matter how difficult their behaviour may be. My dog is a lurcher and he is particularly choosy about who he is left with (and me too!) but he absolutely loves being with Emma. She has a particular knack of knowing what a dog needs to feel calm and comfortable. She is brilliant at dealing with dogs in a group and it is no coincidence that whatever the mix, breed, gender or quantity of dogs in her company they very rarely argue. Emma deals with any situation calmly and quickly and with no fuss and the dogs know this, giving them confidence. Emma loves all dogs and always sees the best in them, with an amazing ability to train any dog. She dedicates herself to their welfare and sees the training of dogs as a large part of this.  I would have absolutely no hesitation in leaving my dog in Emma's care or in recommending her to other people for their dogs.

When we decided to get a dog, it was not a quick decision and we took almost a year researching all the possibilities, especially as we both worked for part of the week. We found Emma through Petpals and have been so impressed by her enthusiasm and obvious love for dogs. Teddi, our cockapoo absolutely adores her and is such a happy and contented dog, largely I know due to Emma's input and regular visits. Emma started to do puppy visits before Teddi was ready for full walks and we felt very confident following her guidance at each stage. It is clear that Emma is very intuitive and understands dog behaviour and is passionate about their wellbeing. We feel very lucky to have Emma on board and know that Teddi feels the same!

Emma has been brilliant at training our puppy and us! We had one to one help from the minute Maggie arrived. Emma helped us through toilet training, nipping, walking off lead and now Maggie is a very calm, obedient, happy dog. We would thouroughly recommend Emma to others.

I have known Emma for some time now and I am always impressed wiith how she interacts with the dogs in her care. Emma has hands on experience as well as academic education in dog behaviour and modern training approaches. Her commitment to her own on-going education and development ensures that she is fully up to date with the current evidence nased research and thinking about how dogs and their humans learn best. Through her work with PetPals Emma has experience with a very wide range of different dog breeds and thus has insight into how best to handle and train them in real-life day to say settings and situations. Her personal qualities make her an approachable and thoughtful trainer and in my veiw we are lucky to have her. My dogs also love her to bits!
